Erin Falconer

‘It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.’ - e. e. cummings

Whether you are routed in a past of trauma or pain, stuck in a present with no sense of meaning or motivation, or anxious about an uncertain future, often it is easier to stay in the security - or what’s known - of the pain or mediocrity, than face the uncertainty or fear of the unknown of change, despite it’s infinite possibilities for a better life. That you are here, bravely scratching that curiosity, deserves recognition.

I come to you as not just a therapist, but as someone who has had a varied career (from stand-up comedian to digital entrepreneur to celebrated blogger and podcaster to published author) and as a result I marry a unique, unconventional set of life experiences and learnings with a more traditional sense of depth psychotherapy and coaching, to create a holistic and robust therapeutic experience. I believe that therapy does not need to be all about tissue and tears (though that certainly can be part of the process), but should also actively seek out laughter, creativity and curiosity. Together, we will open up the aperture with the hopes of revealing the whole spectrum of your experience - gaining understanding that one’s goal is not to erase or minimize scars of past trauma or future fears, but rather discover how to metabolize them and consciously incorporate them into who you are, so that you can operate in the world as fully and as realized as you can.
