Friendship Therapy

The pandemic has made one thing painfully clear:

we need community. we need our friends.

as we emerge from the solitude and chaos of the pandemic, THE AWARENESS AROUND THE IMPORTANCE OF our friends aS OUR support system haS SURFACED AND A CULTURE AROUND FRIENDSHIP IS BEING REIMAGINED.

As therapists we recognize the central role friends play in our client’s lives and how solid friendships can influence one’s mental& PHYSICAL health, PERSONAL GROWTH AND SENSE FOR COMMUNITY.

With very little in the way of how to address conflict - either therapeutically or in the larger zeitgeist - in these all important relationships, We set out to create a new modality of therapy: Friendship Therapy.

In our process we help address sources of conflict and create an emotional language to help tolerate conflict and allow growth. We assist you to renegotiate boundaries, relationship values and expectations. We offer friends a safe place in which they together can build trust and confidence to express their authentic needs and wants.
